Bernanke Reveals Small Business Continue to Suffer

In his semiannual monetary policy testimony to the Senate Banking Committee, the Fed chief assured that the central bank would remain flexible in light of the “unusually uncertain” economic outlook.

He has stated that there are several ideas bouncing around the Fed that they might implement in an effort to boost the economy. He has said that those ideas have yet to be approved, that the actions may or may not have an impact, and actually might cause negative results.

While Bernanke denied being “out of bullets,” he didn’t inspire confidence.  What was more revealing were a few of his charts which demonstrate the heavy price small businesses have paid during this recession.
