I have been busy down at the Offices at Palmetto Bay Village Center. Last year we signed about 18,000 sf of new tenants to the property. This year we are on track to exceed that number significantly.
Our largest new tenant signed last year is Red Nova Learning Center, a division of Macmillan Publishing. Don’t let the name fool you — it’s an office user. They provide English language teaching materials for those learning American-English (as opposed to British-English). The Miami Today wrote an article about this deal. It also hit the website of CRE-Sources, a local South Florida CRE website and you can also read more about it here. Red Nova is new to Miami and chose the property because of the great housing both for executives and employees.
We also signed another company, Novis Pharmaceuticals, for about 4,000 sf. They moved down to Palmetto Bay Village Center from the Bird Road area. They also love the convenience to home and the reverse commute.
With a brand new fitness center now open just for tenants, a revamping of our food service 
and an overall updating of common areas, the Offices at Palmetto Bay Village Center is gaining momentum with a strong volume of leasing activity. Stay tuned for further announcements.
